About maybe 100 to 200 yards west of 24th Street on the north side of the Arizona Canal is this large pipe which is about 30 feet west of the opening of the bat cave. P1010103.JPG

These are some places I used to sleep along the north side of the Arizona Canal between 16th street and Glendale and 24th Street and Linclon?

follow the shadow of the telephone pole to the fence. It points to where I used to sleep. This is the cul-de-sac that i used to sleep in between 24th street & maryland along the arizona canal
I slept right there!!!
i used to lock my bike to the flood control ditch here
this is a 2nd place i used to sleep along the flood control ditch - it is 3 telephone poles east of maryland
this is a 2nd place i used to sleep along the flood control ditch - it is 3 telephone poles east of maryland
i used to wash up at granada park on maryland near 20th street
this is a 3rd place i used to sleep next to the floood control ditch. it is between the squaw peak freeway and maryland.
I would sleep next to the fence between the bush and the tree.
When it rained there were 3 places at this location under the squaw peak freeway that I would sleep. 1) on the west side of a piller in the middle of the road on the east side of the freeway. 2) on the gravel road on the east side next to the canal 3) on the gravel road on the west side next to the canal
Looking from the east at the squaw peak freeway.
Above This is the piller I would sleep on the west side of. It would keep bikes and cars from running over me.
Below is the gravel road on the east side of the freeway I would sleep on. The problem with it was that it was covered with bird poop and I was afraid I would catch some illness from the bird poop since it does carry dieses that can be passed to humans.
Well at least the guy tried to rob me. I was sleeping under the freeway and the guy tried to take my wallet. He didn't get it and I woke up.
I then got up to leave and go somewhere else because I didn't want him to try to rob me again. But the guy then snuck up on me and attacked me.
I think he hit me in the head with a rock because I got cut in the head.
He shoved me or I fell into the canal and broke my finger when I fell. I though I was going to freezed to death because it was the middle of the winter and I was soaking wet.
But even wet clothes keep you warm. Even if you are misriable because your soaking wet.
I walked several miles to a hospital where they put my broken finger into a splint.
And by 8 a.m. or so I was back at my locker where I changed my clothes. Later on that day I bought my ASU jacket at Wal-Mart because my coat was soaking wet and I didn't have a jacket to keep me warm.
I used to sit here, drink my beer and watch the ducks. This is where a godd*mn cockroach crawled into my quart bottle of beer and ruined it.
i used to go to mcdonalds at 5am to read the paper
i used to buy beer at the chevron place and clean up in the morning
